BFFs

11 Jul

You would think that from the post title that I was going to be writing about my BFFs, or Girly Girl’s BFFs, or Button Boy’s BFFs.  But that is not the case.  I am just going to attach a picture that I took last night at my parent’s home.  My Uncle Bill and Aunt Jane came into town to see their new grandbaby, Avery Jane.  After dinner, this is where we found my dad and Uncle Bill.

West Wing Addicts Anonymous

8 Jul

Hi.  My name is Emily.  I am addicted to West Wing.  Yes, it is the television show that was on from 1999 until 2006, but I was a little late in “the club.”

One of my best friends, Ch-narla, was/is a West Wing nut.  She told me how good it was.  She told me I should watch it and I never did.  That is, until now.

The West Wing

It now comes on Bravo (the channel Mojo loves to hate) daily.  I DVR it daily.  I love to watch it!  My kiddos, on the other hand, absolutely despise for me to watch it.  I haven’t figured out why, but it may be because it is a lot of talking, and no animation.  Go figure.

I love the characters….and I think that Martin Sheen is an awesome President, of course, I don’t agree with his liberalism on the show or in real life (whoah).  He just has an amazing “presidential presence”….of course, once Jimmy Smits comes on, I **really** like him…but I think I like him for more than his presence!

My favorite character, by far, is Josh Lyman….Bradley Whitford!  He is great!!!!  I love his sarcasm…his sense of humor….his snobiness….everything!  So, now I am trying to figure out if I like Bradley Whitford as an actor or just as Josh Lyman.  In case you didn’t know, he also played the irritating guy, Eric Gordon, in Billy Madison.  He was soooooooo very irritating, but did such a good job being sooooooo irritating!!!!  Bradley Whitford has a new series, The Good Guys, that I haven’t seen yet.  We tend not to watch current television shows in lieu of watching older episodes on Netflix.  So, I guess we will be waiting for The Good Guys to make its appearance on Netflix.

So, I am now addicted to West Wing….and will soon have another television addiction, I’m sure, but until then….West Wing it is!
